Circuitscape facilitated our omnidirectional connectivity study of terrestrial landscapes, where all landscape elements' contribution was considered, and source and destination nodes were unaffected by land ownership. Our resulting map, depicting mean current density, offered a smooth approximation of movement probability across Canada, with a 300-meter resolution. Our map's predictions underwent evaluation using a range of independently collected wildlife data sets.
